The UnitVane platform

See every cost, give it an owner, and act on it

One SaaS platform with three products. UnitVane covers every cloud bill, KubeOn every Kubernetes workload and GPU, and UnitVane AI every model call.

One platform for every cost you own

Three products on the same owners, budgets and sign-in. Start with one and add the next when you need it.

The problem

Your bill stops at the account.

Bills describe accounts, services, nodes and deployments. Without allocation, the cost belongs to everyone, so nobody acts on it.

Every cloud bills differently

AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud each use their own columns, so the company-wide view is rebuilt in a spreadsheet every month.

One invoice line, forty teams

The bill lists EC2 instances, AKS node pools and GKE nodes. It does not say which namespaces or teams ran on them.

AI spend grows without an owner

Model charges arrive per deployment, not per product or team, and three ways to pay for one model hide the real unit cost.

Savings with no owner

A dashboard says a commitment or a node group is oversized. Nobody knows who should change it, or whether the change is safe.

See the difference

The same bill, with an owner for every line

Your invoice lists machines and services. KubeOn lists the teams that used them.

What the invoice says

  • EC2 m6i.2xlarge ×12
  • AKS D8s_v5 ×9
  • GKE n2-standard-8 ×7
  • GPU g5.2xlarge ×4
  • dc1 rack r12
  • NAT gateway

KubeOn

Finds who ran it

  1. 1Read every bill line
  2. 2Match pods to their labels
  3. 3Split shared and idle cost
  4. 4Reconcile to the invoice

What your teams see

  • ML$54,961
  • Payments$49,211
  • Search$46,380
  • Data$33,120
  • Web$31,208
  • No owner yet$2,600
98.8% assigned to the five teams that ran it. The $2,600 nobody owns yet stays in view, so it gets an owner. Figures are from a sample company.

UnitVane

Every cloud bill, with a business owner

Four things UnitVane does across every cloud, each shown with screens from the product and sample data.

Every cloud bill in one ledger

AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud billing read as FOCUS, with Kubernetes and AI spend beside it. Explore it by business unit, team, service or any tag.

  • FOCUS 1.0 to 1.4, and AWS CUR 2.0 converted
  • Amortized, billed or list cost
  • Saved views, emailed on a schedule
Explore the cost explorer

KubeOn

From the invoice to an approved change

Four things KubeOn does for your clusters, each shown with screens from the product and sample data.

Every node's bill, split across the pods that ran on it

KubeOn starts from the invoice, not a price list: Savings Plans, reservations, credits and negotiated discounts are already in the numbers. Each cluster reconciles to its bill every day, and what cannot be attributed is listed with resource IDs.

  • CUR 2.0, Azure cost exports, BigQuery billing export, FOCUS or data center rate cards
  • Direct, shared and idle cost in separate columns
  • 10 health checks per cluster, so the numbers are complete before they go to finance
How allocation works

UnitVane AI

The same ledger for every model call

AI tokenomics and an integrated LLM gateway across Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI and Anthropic. Quoted on its own, or on one agreement with the other UnitVane products.

Cost per 1M tokens that includes your commitments

PTU hours and reservations are allocated to the deployments and models that used them, so pay-as-you-go and provisioned capacity can be compared on the same number, by model, team and cloud.

  • Input, output and cached tokens
  • Past PTU billing corrected in place
  • Model-mix savings from observed cost
How tokenomics works

KubeOn: GPU optimization

More work from every GPU, and GPUs when you run out

An opt-in GPU optimizer shares cards with MIG and time-slicing, scales and packs GPU nodes, bursts to other regions, clouds or your data center, and switches idle GPUs off. Each policy runs as a proposal, with an approval, or automatically within limits you set.

Whole GPUs, barely used

  • dc1-gpu-07embed-svc6%
  • dc1-gpu-08classify-svc9%
  • dc1-gpu-09ocr-svc5%

GPU optimizer

Policy dc1-mig, Approve mode

  1. 1Find GPUs under 10%
  2. 2Choose the slice that fits
  3. 3Wait for your approval
  4. 4Repartition in the change window

After

  • dc1-gpu-07Three services on MIG slicesShared
  • dc1-gpu-08Back in the poolFree
  • dc1-gpu-09Back in the poolFree
  • SavedTwo A100s at the rate card-$1,723/mo
Figures are from a sample company. The repartition waits for a reviewer, then runs in the Saturday change window.

How UnitVane works

Automated where it is safe. Your decision where it matters.

UnitVane collects, allocates and prices on its own. FinOps reads billing only, Kubernetes changes ship through your pipeline or where you grant write access, capacity purchases wait for a named approver, and the gateway and the GPU optimizer act only within the policies you enable.

Every bill you pay

  • Cloud billingAWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud

UnitVane

One ledger for the whole company

  1. 1Load every bill into FOCUS

  3. 3Split shared costs
  4. 4Reconcile to the bill

What you get

  • Cost by business unitCost center, team and application
  • DashboardsAnalytics Studio, Power BI, Tableau

  • 11template dashboards in every FinOps organization
  • 1M tokensone comparable unit cost across every model

Fully managed

SaaS, hosted in the region you choose. Nothing to operate.

We run all three products. You grant read access to billing, install the read-only agent where you want Kubernetes depth, and choose the region your data is stored in.

UnitVane

Grant read access to your billing exports.

  • AWS role with an external ID, Azure storage reader, BigQuery viewer
  • Or upload or push FOCUS files
  • Nothing to install anywhere
  • Each organization's data in its own database
How it connects

KubeOn

Install one read-only agent per cluster.

  • One Helm release, an hourly CronJob
  • Snapshots sent outbound over HTTPS, no inbound port
  • Billing read through an identity that cannot change your export
  • Optional write access for automated savings
How it connects

UnitVane AI

Connect provider billing, then point apps at the gateway.

  • Read-only provider billing and metrics
  • Managed gateway in the region you choose
  • Provider credentials encrypted, never in app code
  • Your provider keeps billing you directly
How it connects

Data sovereignty

Choose where your cost data lives.

Built for European teams working under GDPR, NIS2 or DORA. Keep every snapshot, billing row and report in the EU region.

Hosting in Europe

Choose the EU region for your workspace. Snapshots are ingested there, and billing rows and reports are stored there.

Your exports stay in your accounts

Billing exports are read in place through identities that cannot change them. UnitVane keeps only the cost data it needs.

Encrypted and isolated

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and each organization's data is kept apart from every other organization's.

Outbound only

Clusters send snapshots out over HTTPS. Nothing in your clusters needs an inbound port.

Data minimization by design

The agent and hub read infrastructure metadata and billing lines only: no Secrets, logs or application payloads, and no personal data about your customers. Gateway prompts reach the hub only on routes where you turn logging on.

AI traffic pinned to the EU

UnitVane AI routes can be limited to EU providers and regions, with email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers masked before a request leaves the gateway.
