1. Who we are

UnitVane ("UnitVane", "we", "us") provides UnitVane, software for Kubernetes and cloud cost management. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: when you request a demo, contact us, subscribe to updates or apply to our programs, we collect details such as your name, work email, company, role and any message you send.

Where a form submission came from: with each submission we record the page you sent it from, the page you viewed before it, the page you first arrived on (including any campaign tags in its address) and the website that referred you. This is held in your browser's memory until you submit a form; we do not use cookies or browser storage for it.

Usage information: we collect limited technical information such as browser type, pages visited and referring URLs to operate and improve the website.

Customer data: when you use UnitVane, cost and usage data is processed under your agreement with us, in the region chosen for your organization.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, send product updates you've requested, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Newsletter: we add your address only after you confirm it through the link we email you. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We keep a record of when you subscribed, confirmed and unsubscribed, so we can show your consent and honour your choice.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business (for example hosting, email and CRM providers) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law. For this website they include Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the database that stores form submissions and sends our email, and Resend, which delivers email when Cloudflare cannot.

5. Retention & security

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, and protect it with administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@unitvane.com.
